The 2011 Toyota Highlander is highly modified version of its predecessor featuring spacious seating arrangement. This is a midsize car that has seating arrangement for seven members with second and third row bucket seats. The seats in the 2nd row can accommodate three passengers through a removable padded center panel that stows and folds in a first row console, when it is unused.

High gas prices has forced automakers to think outside of the box and, in the case of the Toyota Motor Company, the Japanese automaker is doing just that with its 2009 Toyota Highlander. In a move that is certain to be adopted by other manufacturers, Toyota plans on offering a high output four-cylinder engine as standard equipment when the new SUV hits the market in early 2009.
