2011 very popular supercar Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera supercars (Black editions)
0 comments Posted by tito at 2:25 AMThe auto industry is full of cars that are both widely popular or so rare that many of us do not recognize them if we saw it driving by us. Out of all of the many types and brands my favorite has and will always be the Lamborghini. This supercar automaker understand what goes into making something that is full of luxury and power.
The Murcielago and the Gallardo are two of their most popular models. One that is fairly new to the industry is the Superleggera. This car was debuted during the 2007 Geneva Auto Show to compete against the up and coming Ferrari 430 Scuderia. This super light model was a tribute to the very first Lamborghini model - the 350GT.
This particular model is equipped with an improved intake, exhaust, and ECU that push it to 520 horsepower. All of this is connected to the six speed e-gear transmission that comes standard with it. This is great for many consumers who no longer have to spend $10,000 to add it to the car.
What separates this from other models is how lightweight it is. It is lighter then most models by almost 220 pounds. In order to make this possible Lamborghini used carbon fiber panels on the rear diffuser, interior door panels, central tunnel, sport seats, engine cover, and the undertray.
The Lamborghini Superleggera costs more then $200,000 and was released in June of 2007. During that time 172 units were made and purchased. However, since then Lamborghini has discontinued it.

If you're a car fanatic then undoubtedly you'll have been keeping a close eye on the 2010 Paris Motor Show. The place to see all the latest concept cars, the Paris Motor Show is the best place to see some truly amazing cars, of which a few become reality and will be pushed into production sometime in the future.
Jaguar C-X75 - definitely one of the show stoppers at this year's event. The Jaguar C-X75 is driven by four in-wheel electric motors as well as twin jet turbines. A futuristic car, the C-X75 provides 780bhp, 1,180lbft of torque, and with a 560-mile range of which 68 miles are possible on battery power alone, this Jag is certainly a spectacular piece of machinery.
Lotus Esprit - Lotus were definitely aiming to steal the limelight this year and with no less than five high performance cars on show, they certainly made a huge impression. Equipped with a 5.0-litre V8 engine providing 620bhp, the Esprit manages 0-63mph in just 3.4 seconds. And a top speed of 205mph

The loss in weight would be unusable if they did not increase the engine power and output. The original Superleggera was given a 5.0 liter V10 that could push out 530 horsepower. The 2011 model is designed with a direct injected 5.2 liter that forces out 570 horsepower and 398 pound feet of torque. With this much power it can go from 0 to 62 mph in 3.4 seconds and is given a top speed of 202 mph.
A serious supercar has two main properties; power and luxury. This is part of what helps to make them so unusual and rare gems to see driving on the road. The new Gallardo has already proven that it has the power and the interior is more than uxuiorus for even the most enthusiastic fan. Carbon fiber is utilized on the center tunnel cover door panels and gear level. The alcantara upholstery is used throughout the cabin and over the seats.

That said, we find it hard to explain the sale of the car by German luxury and supercar dealer, Auto Salon Singen, on Mobile.de. In the description, the alleged seller claims that Lamborghini will build 10 examples of the Sesto Elemento, but they won't be street legal

According to Lamborghini, the 2010 Gallardo LP560-4 coupe has a top speed of 202 mph and can blast from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.7 seconds. It handles well in twists and turns too. "Inside the low-roofed cabin, the LP560-4's attempt to violate Newton's second law is a comprehensive assault on the senses," writes Motor Trend. "Getting kicked in the ass a split second before being shot from a cannon is probably the closest approximation. The only thing missing is the taste of cordite upon the lips."

With the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante, Lamborghini is setting a new benchmark in the most fascinating automobile segment of all - the open-top super sports car. As "Performante", the Gallardo Spyder is even lighter thanks to CFRP technology, even more agile and even more dynamic. The new Spyder Performante is an automotive high-performance athlete that combines sheer sporting excellence and extreme performance with that unique open-air feeling that only a soft-top spanning the ten-cylinder power unit can offer. Ultimately, every spin in the Spyder Performante is like a journey into the eye of the storm

According to legend, the birth of Lamborghini has taken place after a fight between Enzo Ferrari and Ferruccio Lamborghini. The latter complained to the Drake's not lofty quality of the GT cars from Maranello. The debate between the two occurred in the early 60s Ferrari and Lamborghini dismissed, telling him to "think about the tractors that I take care of self."

Having undergone an extensive refresh in ’09, the 2010 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 remains unchanged -- which is fine by most reviewers who lust over its wild style, insane performance dynamics and first-rate interior accommodations. "Italian passion and German engineering combine to make the 2010 Lamborghini Gallardo a wild, yet civilized supercar," says Edmunds. "For those with large enough bank accounts, we are green with envy."

The LP640 Roadster does not have too many competitors in its class. The Mercedes-Benz SLR Roadster might be considered a competitor to the LP640 Roadster, but it costs nearly $150,000 more. Ferrari unfortunately doesn't sell any roadsters with any where near the kind of power that the Mercielago LP640 produces, and Aston Martin's DB9 Volante also has considerably less horsepower, almost 200 less horsepower. This kind of places the LP640 Roadster pretty much in a class of it's own.

Lamborghini Gallardo+LP550
The car is 4 wheel drive and it needs it to be as there is so much power it needs to ensure all 4 wheels are glued to the floor.
When you take the car on the track your first thought maybe to get the traction control off but you can really drive this with all the control aids on and still have a great time. It provides blistering performance as well as great handling, a 5 litre V10 engine and very grippy brakes.

Ferruccio Lamborghini's love of bulls was so strong that he would often visit Don Eduardo Miura who was the owner of a famous bull ranch in the region of Seville and who bred several species. It was this passion that led him to name several of his cars after various breeds of bull which were reared on this ranch. In 1966 at The Geneva Motor Show an early prototype car called the P400S received so much attention that it went in to production under a different name as the Miura a 4 litre car with 280 bhp which is named after a savage breed of Bull bred by Don Eduardo Miura himself, and several variations followed including the SV Concept, Roadster, SV, and the Jota A replacement for the Miura was to become the Islero 400GT and Islero 400GTS a 2+2 coupe which was built between 1968 and 1969 and was named after the bull that killed the famous matador Manolete in 1947.

Lamborghini Gallardo sport car
The Lamborghini Gallardo was named after a line of famous bulls. After the takeover of the company by Audi the cars were still high performance cars but now they were user friendly. The cost of the car is around the same as 18 Honda Jazz's but if you are wanting to know how much this car is then this car is probably not for you.
It has Audi's switch gear and all grouped logically together. It has 6 speed transmission paddle shift similar to the ones in Maserati's and Ferrari's. The body shape is more chiselled and more defined. Overall it is a much more practical car than it's Lamborghini predecessors. It even has normal doors. If you wanted to you could use this car as an everyday car.

Ferruccio Lamborghini was a very successful business man who owned various businesses although his main line of business was building and selling tractors. Ferruccio's philosophy was to work hard in the morning and enjoy himself in the afternoon. One day while racing his Ferrari with his close friend Enzo Ferrari he told him that he didn't quite think that his car was good enough! Enzo took it the wrong way and replied "what would you know about building sports cars, you only know how to build tractors"? Ferruccio felt insulted and decided to build himself his own sports cars. At first everybody laughed at his big ideas. But in 1963 he opened his state of the art factory in Sant' Agata in Bolognese about 25km from Bologna.

Exterior The Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster

Hiding under the hood of the mid engine Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster you will find an awesome 631 horsepower, 487 pound-feet of torque 6.5-liter V12 engine that greatly improves the performance of the original Murcielago Roadster. When all of the horsepower of this 6.5 liter V12 is let loose, the six-speed manual or six-speed automated manual transmission connecting to the standard all-wheel-drive does it's best to keep the power to the ground.
YELLOW COLOUR Lamborghini Murcielago-LP640 Roadster

Are you ready for a Super Car that can Rock An Roll? Do you want to feel the wind in your hair? If so than I have the perfect Super Car For you!
The first Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster was released in the 2005 Murcielago line up, but the latest version the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster that is capable of going from 0 to 60 in about 3.4 seconds is the one we are concerned about. This enhanced version of the Murcielago Roadster was first released in the 2007 model. It almost looks pretty much like the coupe version of the Murcielago except for the addition of cooling vents behind the air intakes, and a retractable canvas roof.
The Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster exterior also features the wonderful scissor doors, side air scoops that automatically open up at speed, a rear spoiler that can be adjusted to an angle of 70 degrees, folding side mirrors for increased aerodynamics, and electronic Launch Control are also included. Inside the interior has been changed just slightly from the standard coupe, and the body structure has also been reinforced to compensate for a lack of a solid roof panel.

2010-2011 THE Lamborghini-Murcielago-LP640 Roadster

Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster -
The Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster is for the person who has money to burn and wants to feel the wind blowing through their hair at speeds in excess of 200 miles per hour. When you decide to buy the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster it tacks on an additional $33,000 onto the base price of the standard Murcielago LP640 Coupe. Then if you figure in options, and let me tell you there are a lot of options available. It is very easy to drop another $60,000 or more before you walk out the dealers door!
really is not much different than the standard coupe. It looks pretty much the same. It even has the wonderful head turning scissor doors, but there are a few minor differences. There are additional cooling vents behind the air intakes, and a retractable canvas roof are the main differences. Performance is fairly comparable with the standard coupe. The canvas roof panel is only meant for driving around at normal speeds, and should never be installed when you want to do those high speed runs down the road. It is just made of thin canvas and the back pressure from high speeds has the possibility of sucking off the car.
Overall I don't think it matters whether you pick the coupe or the roadster. Any Super Car that is capable of going 211 miles an hours is a winner in my book!
